Originally from South Carolina, Faye grew up on a farm, which gave her a wonderful childhood with a lifetime of wonderful memories.

Her career of 40 years was in the medical field, in the capacity of administration. After retirement, Faye had the opportunity to work in the nursery at Bethel Presbyterian Church, allowing her to work in the preschool, and now with the DUMC Preschool. Faye is happy to have this new career opportunity.

Faye has one son and one grandson, who gives her much happiness and joy. Her grandson entered Montreat College in August 2023 on a golf scholarship.

Faye enjoys working in her yard and growing vegetables. You will often find her tending to her garden, canning, and making jam, which she shares with her friends. She feels blessed for her life and thanks God for this goodness.
