ABOUT DUMC
Location: Davidson United Methodist Church is located at 233 South Main Street in Davidson, North Carolina. Located just one mile from Interstate 77 at Exit 30, we are located in the heart of downtown Davidson, just south of the CVS Pharmacy. Find "Directions" listed below.

Worship Times: Sunday mornings at 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.
Nursery: There is nursery at each service, equipped with a pager system. The well-staffed nurseries provide safe and supportive care for infants, crawlers, and young toddlers. All paid and volunteer staff undergoes a background check and adheres to our Safe Sanctuaries Policy. Children older than two are encouraged to participate in Sunday School.
Sunday School and Adult Small Groups: Education and fellowship opportunities for adults, young adults, and children are available at 9:30 and 11:00 on Sunday mornings, as well as throughout the week. Click here for a Sunday Morning Class Schedule.
Holy Communion: The Communion table is prepared weekly at the 8:15 a.m. service and on the first Sunday of the month at all services.

What will the worship service be like?
The worship service begins as you enter the Sanctuary, greet one another, and prepare your hearts and minds through music and centering time. While all three worship services follow the same liturgy, each has a distinct character. All bring a traditional worship experience combined with beautiful music.
How long are the worship services?
All of the services typically last about an hour.
What should I wear to DUMC?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable. You will see men in suits and ties as well as golf shirts and slacks. You will see women in dresses as well as slacks. “Mortals look on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
Do I have to be a member of DUMC to take Communion?
Everyone is welcome at the communion table, whether members of DUMC or not, kids or adults. Christ invites to his table all who love him, who repent of their sin, and who seek to live in peace with God and one another.
Where do my children go during the worship service?
All children may attend the various worship services with their parents, though our children’s ministry does provide an exciting experience for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary ages through fifth grade. This allows you to get the most from your experience at DUMC while your child has a great time in a safe, friendly, kid-centered environment. Click here for a Sunday Morning Class Schedule.
Where do I park?
Both visitor and handicapped parking spots are designated in our main parking lot off Main Street. When that lot is full, there are a number of additional nearby parking options; click here for a Parking Map. At the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services, our local Davidson police officers are on duty to assist motorists with entering, exiting, and parking in and around the DUMC campus.

Directions 
If you are traveling north from Charlotte:
Drive on I-77 north toward Lake Norman.
Take Exit 28 (Cornelius). Turn RIGHT off the ramp onto Catawba Avenue. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 115. This will quickly become Main Street in Davidson. After you pass under the railroad tracks, travel approximately one half mile and turn RIGHT into the Davidson United Methodist Church parking lot.
If you are traveling south from Mooresville or Statesville:
Drive on I-77 south. Take Exit 30 (Davidson, Davidson College). Turn LEFT off the ramp onto Griffith Street. Turn RIGHT onto Main Street. You will see a white Davidson College sign in front of you. Travel about 2 blocks, and turn LEFT into the Davidson United Methodist Church parking lot.
