Community
Community Garden worker – No experience required!  If you like to be outside and dig in the dirt this is the job for you!  This organic, three-season garden needs tending so it can continue to provide produce to Loaves and Fishes.  Contact Connie and Eddie Beach, 704-892-4050.

Worship
Welcome Center Assistant – Be the friendly face of DUMC!  Greet people, answer questions and provide information to members and visitors at the Welcome Center. Contact Kay Gulledge, 704-892-0063.

Worship Service Assistant – Help keep worship services running smoothly! Ensure key people are present, collection plates are in their proper spot, the Bible on the lectern is turned to the right page and candles are lit. Contact Gwynn Ford, 704-661-4372/704-998-7203.

Connect Center Team Member – Be the first to know what’s going on at church!  Help people find a place to plug in to DUMC through one of our great programs by volunteering at the Connect Center.  Contact Jackie Benjamin, 704-892-8277.

Parking Lot Team Leader – Ever have trouble finding a place to park on Sunday morning?  A new and exciting ministry is being formed to help visitors and members navigate the parking at DUMC. Currently, team leaders are needed.  Contact Michael Rumble, 704.948.0740.

Children’s Ministry
Summer Sunday School Teacher – Do you enjoy being around the infectious energy and enthusiasm of our children?  The Children’s Ministry is in need of teachers for the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday Schools as well as help with Jesus the Rock Live.  Contact Rev. Ellen Johnson, 704-892-8277.

Congregational Care
